As executor, I received a notice from Allen & Kirmse about some mineral rights held by my late grandparents awhile back. My attorney and I have been trying for months to figure out what they need from us to claim ownership of the rights and royalties, and we've scarcely been able to get responses from them after constantly contacting them almost weekly for a few months. It would be nice if they would cooperate, especially since the next step is apparently to sue them, an action that seems like it should be unnecessary. This firm seems like one to be avoided since they're not very communicative or cooperative.
