Moving forward with Christ. Forgiveness is what it is all about. Thanks be to God for all of the holy priests and religious and those seeking vocations. They are being well-trained and are producing great fruit.

Research Archivist, Sarah Waits, was SO helpful in assisting me to confirm a very old family burial record via email correspondence. I sincerely appreciate all of their service and professional work. Looking forward to my next NOLA visit and to continued research of my ancestors and relatives.

Thanks to our dedicated and hardworking clergy, consecrated religious and laity who provide us with beautiful celebrations of Masses and other services. Special thanks to Archbishop Gregory Aymond for his leadership, wisdom and guidance.

Any "religious" organization involved in a $230 million sexual abuse lawsuit should not even have 1 star. How sick, sinister, and shameful!

They are the caretakers of many historic buildings who had to deal with Katrina. Many buildings had damage and some had to be closed. Through it all the Archbishop delicately but firmly dealt with the catastrophe. I breathed a sigh of relief over the outcome. Schools, churches, senior housing, rectories all got damaged. Many of these historic buildings are back in use and have survived. Some are National Landmark and National Register status. The Archdiocese is also caretaker of some historic cemeteries. They are part of the tourism industry which supports the New Orleans economy.
