To begin with the main instructor is really rude and doesn’t help much when it comes to Welding. Your better off asking the other instructors for help. Absences are another main thing that don’t make sense. You have 6 available absences other than that your kicked out. Excuses are based upon whether you actually have a good reason but that all depends on your reason for not making it to school. Overall school is based off favoritism from what it seems. I pay hard earned money for school i don’t just have some company paying for my school.

I had a great experience at ABC Training School; everyone I met was very kind. Given their long history, I'm surprised they haven't established an online schooling option. I'm unsure if they offer summer semesters or accelerated training programs to allow earlier completion of whatever you're studies, that would be great. Balancing work/school has been challenging for me. Each semester, my crazy work hours prevent me from attending/finishing. It would be beneficial if they expanded their course offerings to include more trades, such as Process Technology. I have high hopes for this school and hope to continue my education through a combination of online classes and hands-on sessions once a week, if they can transition. Overall, it's a very good.

I’ve been told for the past eight months they are still looking for a project manager instructor. Decided to take LSU’s online training course instead.

My experience at ABC Pelican Chapter is great; because of the priceless knowledge learned and people we meet in the construction industry. For some it's just a class or two for work purposes but, for others it's a "game changer." For me it started as an idea at work to become something "better." Sometime later, dedication, studying, and a great deal of effort I'm in a great position in the field I desired. ABC helped me get there as well as other factors. I highly recommend this school. Instructors are willing to help on one-on-one biases when they don't have to. The instructors typically know the "field." They've been out there and train you for the real world with their knowledge and experiences. Thanks ABC Pelican Chapter, you get the 5 stars from me! -Alexander S. Reyes
