Brittany and her team are absolutely phenomenal. They have been patient, professional, & caring with me as their client. Attorney Brittany Chavis also knows how to turn up the heat and be a DAWG in the court room! I’ve had several proceedings outside of court but watching her in court showed her talent! She is articulate, thorough, and she does not back down. Brittany goes to court TO WIN!! I’d refer her to anyone. She’s a great choice!

Exceptional Representation, Judgment, and Commitment I need to handle a legal matter in Lake Charles and was initially referred to an attorney who does not have representation there. He advised me to review Google ratings for local attorneys to gain insight. He was absolutely right. That search led me to Brittany Chavis. She has over 34 five-star reviews citing her knowledge, professionalism, and the strength of her team. Those reviews are accurate. I paid for a consultation with Ms. Chavis, and from the beginning, the value was clear. Today is President’s Day. The courts are closed. Yet Ms. Chavis is in her office, meeting with us and honoring our scheduled time. That decision speaks louder than any marketing language. What sets her apart is the balance of her experience. She previously served as a District Attorney, so she understands the court system from the inside. As a private practice attorney, she also understands client needs and urgency. That dual perspective matters. She knows the law, understands courtroom dynamics, and advocates with clarity and strategy. She has strong professional relationships with the District Attorney’s office and works alongside attorneys who are highly competent in their respective areas. This is clearly a well-run practice. Her staff reinforces that impression. We are dealing with an urgent matter, and Leah, her paralegal, though that title understates her role, acknowledged the urgency immediately. She explained Ms. Chavis was in court and proactively offered multiple dates, assuring us Ms. Chavis would be available. That level of responsiveness builds trust. We are retaining her as our attorney with confidence. If you need a Lake Charles attorney for a matter where judgment, responsiveness, and credibility matter, look up Ms. Chavis. Read the Google reviews. They are accurate. This review is written immediately after the consultation for a reason. Brittany, excellent work. We need more attorneys who operate at this level.
