REVIEW FOR (JULIO NIETO): Julio Nieto was my public defender-- and he went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for in an attorney. We had not even met in person or spoken directly on the phone, and he took (a single email) expressing my concerns and totally had my case closed out. Although I can't imagine very person's case resolving exactly like mine, I can assure you that Julio will look beyond the bare minimum of what you're dealing with-- and use that insight to help ease your burdens as much as possible. I didn't expect immediately that I would have such a high level of support from him, given how people generally become a cog in the machine when your dealing with court charges-- but Julio is the best kind of example when it comes to a public defender. I couldn't afford a lawyer, and Julio defended me as if I hired an entire legal firm.

I am incredibly grateful for the representation I received from Julio Nieto with the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. From the very beginning, he was professional, patient, and thorough in explaining every step of the legal process. He made what could have been an overwhelming situation feel manageable and always treated me with kindness and respect. He also clearly guided me on the requirements I needed to complete. Thanks to his dedication and support, my cases were handled properly and efficiently and were dismissed. I truly appreciate his hard work and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of representation in Dallas County.

Amazing. I spent money on lawyers at first but I had to go on disability so I opted for a public defender on my felony case. Mrs. Donna was amazing. Best lawyer I've ever had and I've spent over 60k on lawyers over the years due to divorce but nobody has been this good at their job. Thank you for all your office does for folks. You saved my life!

Attorney Julio Nieto completely changed my outlook on public defenders. He went above and beyond and did absolutely everything he could for my cases — and all of them were dismissed in Dallas County. He is truly one of a kind, and anyone would be lucky to have him as their attorney. What sets him apart is that he genuinely cares about his clients, not just the cases. He took the time to listen, explain, and fight for the best possible outcome. I’m incredibly grateful for his dedication, professionalism, and compassion. I highly recommend Julio Nieto to anyone in need of an attorney who truly has your best interests at heart.
