I cannot say enough about the integrity and selflessness of Ms.Ellen Cronin Badeaux. I approached her with a complex family law matter, but because my case involved out-of-state laws, she legally could not represent me. Instead of turning me away, she chose to go completely above and beyond. Knowing she would not benefit financially, she spent significant time with me to review my situation. She carefully explained the specific out-of-state legal nuances I needed to be aware of and mapped out exactly what criteria I needed to look for in a lawyer licensed in that jurisdiction. She even proactively helped me research for qualified attorneys in that state to ensure I wouldn't fall into the wrong hands. Her compassion, deep legal knowledge, and willingness to protect a stranger during a vulnerable time speak volumes about her character. She is a true class act and a top-notch professional. If you need a family law attorney who genuinely cares about people first, look no further." I promise you will be forever grateful that you hired Ms. Ellen Cronin Badeaux to represent you.

Ms Badeaux was hired as my divorce attorney after speaking with her at the beginning of October. Since that time, any communication was done through email, most of which went unanswered. Any documents requested of me were not followed up on. If I were that important as a client who is paying for your services, I should have the expectation of being followed up with regarding relevant documents before the hearing. When I did submit the requested documents, they were never received as her personal email isn't checked and again, had to re-email them the day of the second hearing. She then grew frustrated at me for not submitting the documents and because her Zoom feed was bad. I chose to abandon her and the hearing when I realized I am not valued as a client. She chose to withdraw as my counsel as I had not fulfilled my payment obligations despite requesting to terminate her services in Oct and advising I couldn't afford her services in Jan. If you want to be valued as a client, seek other counsel.

Had a divorce mediation with her. Divorce paperwork was supposed to be filed with the court. I asked that they hold off on filing for a short time. I wanted to ask her a few questions before filing. I called and emailed several times trying to talk to Ms Badeaux. Finally I told the assistant I would pay money to schedule an appointment to speak with Ms Badeaux just so I could get this matter settled. I was told that wouldn’t be necessary, she would contact me. She never did. Note that I emailed her personally and she never responded. I ended up having to figure out how to do my divorce paperwork on my own and filed it myself. I sincerely regret ever contacting this office. She made an already extremely stressful time in my life even worse!

All I can say is these reviews will back me up. Lol. Don't waste your money or time on this person. She's late to court and she over talks in court and she giggles too in court. Nooo. She not who we hired. But we're the ones on the opposite side of the court room. Civil and criminal. She tries to get everything continued. Most times she does on criminal side. She'll just take your money and it'll never get over. She should retire since she gets cases messed up too lol. Thanks Ellen. Keep taking all his money. EDITED FROM 5 MONTHS AGO. EVERYTHING ABOVE IS WHAT I ORIGINALLY POSTED UNLIKE ELLENS. SHE EDITTED IT AND MADE MY REVIEW EVEN MORE TRUE. SHES VERY UNETHICAL, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE VIOLATED THE HIPPA LAWS FEDERAL AND STATE. SHE PUT MY DAUGHTERS PRIVATE, SENSITIVE HIPPA MEDICAL INFO ON HERE. DO NOT WORRY MS ELLEN. I SCREENSHOT IT BEFORE YOU EDITED IT FOR THE WORSE. SHAME ON YOU. AS EVERYONE KNOWS AT DRS AND PHARMACY YOU SIGN THE HIPPA AND YOUR INFO IS NOT TO BE RELEASED. AND IN COURT WHEN MY DAUGHTER SIGNED THE RELEASE FOR HER RECORDS WILLINGLY. IT WAS FOR COURT PURPOSES ONLY. YOU SHOULD KNOW I ALWAYS BACK EVERYTHING UP WITH VIDEOS, TEXT AND PICTURES. THANKS TO YOU FOR NOT CONTINUING WITH HIS CASE BECAUSE ALL HIS CRIMINAL STUFF IS FINALLY OVER TOO. WHICH IS PUBLIC RECORD AS YOU KNOW. I DONT LIE OR SAY A THING WITHOUT MY PROOF. I've been looking at reviews myself more. I know yall are lawyers to make alot of money. As you know she/we are on our third lawyer. Thankfully we found the right one. She actually cares. Shame on you. How can you sleep at night? By the way my daughter has never been better. She wasnt the problem. I hope you can admit it too. Appreciate your time. As a mother I would do and spend what I need to to prove my daughter's innocents. I just thought lawyers would read people better. I wish you the best still after everything.
