If I could give zero stars I would. For the past 17 months I have been calling, emailing, documenting and following up on my mortgage. I have gotten no where with this company, I have even sent a certified letter to the office of the executive and finally got a call back from the office of the customer after requesting that over a year ago. My payments aren’t applied right, my payment statement makes zero sense and no one is fixing anything and I’m being told everything checks out. Who can I get in touch with that can fix this? Someone please give me some direction here. #foxnews, #anyattorney who can help

One star only because one of the two people during the customer service call was helpful. LoanCare placed a stop on my account because I was trying to pay my mortgage and my account number was “invalid” even though it wasn’t. I tried twice online and then I had to call. Even in the call with the same account number that’s on my auto pay it didn’t work but eventually it was able to work after the rep called a supervisor. Then a month later I call to make another payment and they say that a hold is on my account and I can’t make over the phone or online payments because of the two times prior I tried to pay online and their system wouldn’t process it . I explained the situation and they said they can’t take out the hold that they placed for something that’s a system error on their end.

Loan Care is the mortgage server/bank for Veterans United. I had an excellent experience with Veterans United on my mortgage. On June 29th 2026, Loan Care cashed my very first loan payment. Unfortunately they either applied my mortgage payment to another loan or applied my $1,400 to soneones pocket. Loan Care told me the loan will be applied to next months loan payment. They applied it, and then reversed my payment. They then requested documentation from me in the form of a bank statement. I sent that to them. They replied with “that is not sufficient”. They wanted a PDF format. I don’t have PDF on my PC nor can I afford to buy a subscription to PDF. Why am I being the one to provide documentation for my check and oayment that I mailed them? I will not be a forgotten Military Veteran living on the streets again. I will continue to pound the desks and tell all about the shady practices of Loan Care, until my money is returned to me.

Absolutely awful. If I could give 0/5 I would. If you get unlucky like I did and have your morgage company sell your loan to loan care, I feel for you. I'm currently dealing with an issue where loan care paid my year taxes while they were getting reassest. Well I had no idea they paid them in the middle of the reassessment until the end of February when they said my morgage was increasing $1500 dollars. Of course I called and let them know what happened. The person I talked to said it's completely fine, go ahead and have the county send you the refund check and send a letter about the change. I asked what happens if I don't get the refund check in time before my next payment? They told me don't worry about it, they couldn't affect it before the next billing was due so just call at the beginning of the month. Well the beginning of the month came and I'm still waiting on the refund, but of course loan care doesn't care. They just want everything they have owed to them and could care less about my situation. I guess I'm just going to pay $1500 more dollars and just find another job to pay for it in the time being. Honestly these people really don't care, they just want your money. I don't understand why they cannot just push it a month so I can get everything worked out. If you happen to get stuck in a situation where your loan gets sold, to loan care, just plan on refinancing as soon as humanly possible.

Previous company was UWM, they randomly decided my $1,400 monthly mortgage was now $2,100. Funnily enough they explained it was because property taxes, so I show them I am 100% P&T Disabled Veteran in the state of Florida which means I don’t pay property taxes. All of a sudden it’s now non ad valorem that added the extra $700 to my mortgage. Interestingly enough they sold me to this company who who has no messaging system, barely anyone to pick up the phone, and doesn’t care to explain the upcharge themselves either. If you get sold to this company, good luck. Never thought I’d have to walk away from my home or that any American would be treated so poorly, especially Veterans.
