Hello, I was hurt by a Doctor Back in 2020. I felt hopeless and did a lot of research about who the best attorneys were for my type of injury and everyone I called told me to go to Michele Bartoli Cain. (Now Michele and Charley with Shulman Rogers) From the beginning everything was very professional. We spoke multiple times and I told them my story of everything that happened. Michele and Charley always made me feel very comfortable and anytime I had a question or concern they always reached out to me personally to help. I really liked that because alot of times the lawyer won’t be in touch with you personally. That wasn’t the case here. Michele and Charley are the best of the best. They are very friendly and are the BEST at what they do. If you are looking for an attorney who really cares for you, and will get you top dollar either in Trial or settlement then this is it. I can’t say enough good things. They typically work with people with Dental nerve damage, IAN nerve damage, wisdom tooth extractions, OBGYN, and a variety of medical malpractice suits. So thankful and happy to have found Charley and Michele at Shulman Rogers!!

I can’t say enough good things about Shulman Rogers and the incredible support they gave my son and our family during one of the most difficult times of our lives. When my son was just 6 years old, he had a terrible dental experience that led to multiple surgeries and hospitalizations. It was a long and emotional journey that felt impossible to navigate alone. As a parent, watching your child go through something like that is heartbreaking — and I knew I had to fight for him. I reached out to multiple attorneys in hopes of pursuing a case, but most told me it would be too hard to win. In other words, no one wanted to put in the work. That changed the day I called Shulman Rogers. I was on the way to one of my son’s follow-up surgery appointments (hands-free, of course) when I decided to try one more call. I explained the situation, and they immediately began asking detailed and thoughtful questions — not just about what happened, but about medical timelines, medications, and communications with the dental office. For the first time, I felt like someone was actually listening and willing to help. They took on my son’s case when we were only six months into what would become a year-long medical ordeal. Throughout the process — which took a couple years — they provided clear instructions on what documents and communications they needed: doctor visits, emails, texts, everything. They were incredibly thorough during discovery and always knew the right questions to ask. They truly understood the emotional toll it was taking on us and were compassionate and responsive during even the most frustrating times. Eventually, we were able to reach a great settlement for my son. To top it off, they even referred me to trusted financial professionals to help set up a long-term trust. Because my son was only 10 when the case ended, the courts required the money to be protected — which I completely agree with. I was able to choose a schedule for disbursements through different stages of his life, ensuring he’ll be supported when he needs it most. Bottom line: I couldn't have done this without Shulman Rogers. Where other attorneys saw difficulty, they saw a child worth fighting for. They weren’t looking for a quick payout — they were willing to put in the time, energy, and heart that this case truly required. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs legal help, especially when the stakes are high and the road is tough. They will stand by you.

I’m so grateful for the team at Shulman Rogers. From the very beginning, they made me feel like I was in good hands. They were professional, proactive, and always on top of the details. Michele Bartoli Cain and Charley Rothermel were with me every step of the way. They took the time to really listen, answered my questions directly, and made sure I understood what was happening. That kind of personal attention is rare, and it made a huge difference for me. The rest of the team worked just as hard behind the scenes, and I never once felt like my case was being overlooked. They treated me with respect and care from start to finish. If you’re looking for a law firm that is not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely cares about their clients, I can’t recommend Shulman Rogers enough.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Michele Bartoli Cain, Charley Rothermel, and the entire team at Shulman Rogers for their outstanding work in successfully resolving my malpractice case — but more than that, for being genuinely compassionate, dedicated, and human throughout the entire process. From day one, Michele made me feel heard, respected, and supported. She wasn’t just an attorney to me — she was someone who truly cared. She walked me through each step, gave me strength when things got overwhelming, and never once made me feel like I was going through this alone. Her warmth and professionalism carried me through one of the hardest times in my life. Charley brought a sense of calm and strategic focus that made me feel secure in the direction of the case. Together, they were a powerhouse — smart, thoughtful, and relentless when it came to advocating for justice. The rest of the Shulman Rogers team was just as kind and detailed behind the scenes. Nothing was overlooked. This case was deeply personal and emotional for me, and having them by my side made all the difference. They treated me like a person, not a file — and that human connection meant more than I can put into words. Shulman Rogers is well-known across the DMV area, and for good reason. If you’re lucky enough to have them represent you, know that you’ll not only have some of the best legal minds on your side, but people who will fight for you with heart and integrity. I’ll always be grateful for everything they’ve done for me.

If you are in need of a personal injury attorney, I can’t recommend Michele Bartoli Cain enough. Michele came highly recommended by many other attorneys because she was simply the “best of the best” when it came to dental malpractice. As with any personal Injury case, I was dealing not only with the pain and life adjustments caused by my injury but also the stress and uncertainty of a lengthy legal battle. It was so easy to feel like a number and not a person when dealing with the dentists that caused my injury, so having Michele represent me was by far the best decision I made during that difficult time. Michele made me feel human again, she handled my case with compassion and understanding while also fighting for me with a fierce intensity that ultimately lead to a settlement we were extremely happy with. Her hard work and determination when working on my case was evident during each deposition - truly showing me that I was in the best hands possible. If you have the chance to work with Michele, do not pass it up, she is a rare gem in her field and will fight hard for you while also providing you with the compassion needed during such difficult circumstances.
