"I cannot thank Mr. Russell enough for protecting my reputation. When false and damaging statements were made about me, I felt completely overwhelmed. Mr. Russell took swift, aggressive action, issuing a decisive cease-and-desist that halted the harm immediately. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable about defamation law, and gave me my peace of mind back. I highly recommend them to anyone needing to defend their name."

I had a great experience with everyone in the office. Mrs. Lizell, Mrs. Kristine and Attorney Russell were all quick to answer quetions and calm any nerves I had regarding my case. The information and care they provided were more than I expected. Thank you all!

Russell stegman recently represented me in my divorce process and he is a wonderful attorney. He went above and beyond what he promised. He not only got my divorce , my safety was his number 1 priority and he won me spousal support and my ex husband is responsible for my legal fees and attorney fees. I recommend him and his staff to everyone I know and if you're reading this please call his office for a consultation. They will do their best work to get you the results you want and hopefully even better than what you desire plus at a cost that won't break the bank.

My sister hired Mr. Stegeman to represent her during her divorce, prioritizing her safety and the well-being of our elderly mother, who lives with her. When she retained his services, she requested three urgent protections: a protective order, the right to remain in the marital home, and having the vehicle title transferred into her name. Her primary concern was safety, given her husband’s documented history of violence. Within two months, Mr. Stegeman unilaterally downgraded the protective order to a civil injunction—without informing her of the change or its implications. He assured her the two were effectively the same, which they are not. Since then, her husband has shown up at the home multiple times, issued threats, and forced her to call 911 on two separate occasions. Because the original protective order was dismissed, there have been no legal consequences for these violations. Despite repeatedly expressing her concerns in writing and continuing to make monthly payments toward what was promised as an inclusive fee, the issues she prioritized—protection, housing security, and control of her vehicle—remain unresolved. Disturbingly, a continuance was filed in her case even after she explicitly objected. In my opinion, Mr. Stegeman’s handling of this case has placed both my sister and our mother in continued danger. When legal counsel fails to act on clear, documented threats and ongoing abuse, it raises serious ethical and professional questions. Unfortunately, my sister is now no closer to safety or stability than she was before seeking his help.

DO NOT DO IT! I hired Mr. Stegeman for a custody case. My case got a little confusing and things were happening quicker than I expected. I spoke with one of his assistants on a Tuesday and she scheduled me to discuss more with Stegeman the next Thursday - he never called, I had to call him. Then when I did call all I did was repeat the same information I told his assistant - he gave me 4 MINUTES of his time. I waited until the end of the day Friday for advice on how to proceed and still had no call back from his office. I needed someone who could help quick so I terminated Mr. Stegeman via email. I was informed by my new attorney that it normally takes about two weeks to get a refund on any unused retainer. I waited exactly two weeks to send a follow up email because I do understand things take time. It has been almost 30 days since I have terminated Mr. Stegeman and I still have not gotten at least a status of my refund and during this time they ''accidently'' drafted $500 from my account. Which when I called I was told to call my bank, but then miraculously after a few stern words they were able to void the charge. However, still no word on my retainer refund.
